Look Good - Feel Good - Do Good
Nic's Kicks wants to reignite the power of self love and confidence in kids. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through educational and outreach activities, Nic's Kicks hopes to reduce bullying in school and build more powerful, confident kids who are ready for success as adults. OUR STORY
On April 9, 2018, Nicholas (Nic) Rogers, aka DJ NiRo, passed at the age of thirty-seven of undiagnosed sarcoidosis leaving behind his son Cameron, his wife Maya, their son Daniel, and their daughter-to-be Nichole. Nic loved sneakers and sparked his son's love for sneakers at an early age.
Nic’s Kicks is a nonprofit founded by Daniel Rogers in memory of his sneakerhead dad. Nic imparted important life lessons about confidence, fiscal responsibility, health, and achievement to his children and others. For example, Nic did not just buy the hottest sneakers for his son, he also bought him Nike stock. As such, Nic’s Kicks shares the tagline and philosophy of Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good.

WHAT WE DO
As All-Stars, students can earn $150 Nic's Kicks Bucks (dollars) by participating in workshops focused on financial literacy, etiquette, and health and wellness. On the day of the sneaker spree, the students are transported to a local shoe store where they are met by the Nic's Kicks crew.
During the event, the store staff will size the students to ensure they get sneakers that fit and then the fun begins. Using their Nic’s Kicks Bucks, the students go on a shopping spree and buy whatever shoes they want. Whether it's one fly pair or several pairs, as long as they stay within their personal budget, the choice is theirs. In addition to the shoes, students get a can of shoe cleaner and shoe protector spray to take home to help maintain their shoes.
Once the shopping is done, it's time for red carpet pictures and food!
